August Table was lucky enough to participate in one of Hong Kong’s secret supper club! Once Upon a Table‘s founder, Sofia, asked us to lend our multiple city plates (Hong Kong, Paris, San Francisco, and Tokyo) for their very first dinner. The theme for the dinner couldn’t have been more perfect, “A Tale of Two Cities”.
Everybody has a city or two, or three, that they love, that they miss, that may have shaped them in varying ways. In the case of Once Upon a Table, their goal in hosting a secret supper club was to gather perfect strangers with different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences from different cities to share the appreciation of food.
